Welcome to Park Day Nursery!
Each age group has its own dedicated room, carefully designed to meet the developmental needs and interests of the children within that stage of their learning journey.
All age ranges are approximate and transitions are guided by each child's individual development and readiness.
Each child is allocated a dedicated Key Person before they start at Park Day Nursery, along with a Co-Key Person. Working closely together, they ensure continuity of care and support, meeting each child's individual needs and providing consistency when the Key Person is unavailable.
We recommend settling-in sessions before children start with us. These visits help children become familiar with their new environment, build relationships with practitioners and provide parents and carers with the opportunity to ask questions and share important information about their child.

Our Nursery Environment and Security
Our large outdoor area area provides children with endless opportunities to explore, investigate and connect with the natural world. We encourage outdoor play in all seasons and ask parents to provide named waterproof suits and wellington boots so children can enjoy the garden whatever the weather.
Being situated in the heart of the village allows us to make the most of our local community. Children regularly explore our village, including the shops, library and park, helping them develop a sense of belonging and understanding of the world around them.
At Park Day Nursery, the safety and security of our children is our highest priority. From our secure outdoor environment and coded entry systems to door-entry cameras and CCTV across the nursery, we have robust measures in place to help keep the nursery safe and secure. Our camera and intercom systems allow staff to clearly identify and communicate with visitors.
We operate a strict collection procedure and will only release a child to an authorised adult with the appropriate identification. This ensures every child is collected safely and gives parents peace of mind. All visitors to the nursery are accompanied by a member of staff at all times.
