Park Maple Room

In the Maple Room, children are supported within a warm, nurturing environment where they can learn, play and explore at their own pace. We welcome a maximum of eight children, maintaining a 1:4 adult to child ratio. This smaller group enables children to begin developing their independence and confidence, while our practitioners provide support and encouragement through a range of engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Each child is allocated a dedicated Key Person, along with a Co-Key Person. Working closely together, they ensure continuity of care and support, meeting each child's individual needs and providing consistency when the Key Person is unavailable.
At Park Day Nursery, we use Famly, an online platform that allows parents and carers to stay connected with their child's day through photos, observations, important updates and daily information about meals, sleep and care routines. This partnership helps us work together to provide the best possible start for every child.
The Maple Room plays an important role in preparing children for their transition to the Oak Room. Through consistent routines, encouragement to make independent choices, and opportunities to develop their communication, social and self-care skills, children build the confidence needed for the next stage at Park Day!
