Welcome to Park Olive and Willow Rooms!

Our Park Olive and Willow Rooms are located upstairs above our main nursery and provide a warm, nurturing environment for babies and young toddlers.
The Olive Room is designed for our youngest children and non-walkers, offering a calm and secure space where babies can develop trusting relationships, explore their surroundings and reach important developmental milestones at their own pace.
As children grow in confidence and become more mobile, they gradually spend more time in the Willow Room alongside our small toddlers. This gentle transition encourages independence, confidence and social development, whilst allowing children to remain with familiar practitioners and routines.
Both rooms are well equipped with age appropriate resources and provide opportunities for children to explore, investigate and learn through play. Through sensory experiences, treasure baskets, messy play, painting, water play, play dough, sand and creative activities, children develop their communication, physical, social and emotional skills in a stimulating environment.
We provide a separate cosy sleep area where children can rest according to their individual routines. Whilst following our strict safer sleep policy, practitioners closely monitor sleeping children to ensure they remain safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the day.
Each child is allocated a dedicated Key Person before they start at Park Day Nursery, along with a Co-Key Person. Working closely together, they ensure continuity of care and support, meeting each child's individual needs and providing consistency when the Key Person is unavailable.
We recommend settling-in sessions before children start with us. These visits help children become familiar with their new environment, build relationships with practitioners and provide parents and carers with the opportunity to ask questions and share important information about their child.
As children approach their second birthday, practitioners carefully support their transition into Maple Room. Through regular visits and close partnership with families, we ensure children develop the confidence, independence and familiarity needed to move smoothly to the next stage of their learning journey.
At Park Day Nursery, we use Famly, an online platform that allows parents and carers to stay connected with their child's day through photos, observations, important updates and daily information about meals, sleep and care routines. This partnership helps us work together to provide the best possible start for every child.
